Dylan Joseph Biography

Dylan Joseph was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, CA. Growing up he had a strong passion for being outdoors and loved baseball, motocross, and music. He played Little League baseball from the time he was 8 years old until his first second of college. His dream from the beginning was to pursue a career in baseball and play in the MLB, but after sustaining two major injuries he decided to develop his other dream, being a musician/songwriter/country artist. 

 

Dylan picked up drums at the age of 14 and was a natural. Dylan said, “There was always a drum set in the house because my father was a professional drummer.” He taught himself to play guitar at the age of 18. Quickly learning to play all of his favorite country hits, he had a desire to create songs of his own. Throughout his early years of school, he excelled as a creative writer and those skills seamlessly carried over into his songwriting.

 

Dylan had his first breakthrough in songwriting when he was asked to write a song for the YouTube hit show “Malibu Surf”. He co-wrote the song “Just Friends” which so far has achieved over 15 million streams. He has written songs for different artists, in a broad array of genres, but his heart and passion is to write and perform the country music he loves. 

Following from his stand-out romantic single ‘4 Weeks or 4 Ever’ in 2020, Dylan now looks to his passion of off-roading and hitting the road with your friends.
